Injured Flyers to remain out vs. Florida

January 23, 2012

In a report by CSNPhilly.com's Tim Panaccio, it was revealed that Danny Briere, James Van Riemsdyk, Jaromir Jagr, and Zac Rinaldo will not be playing at all against the Panthers on Tuesday night.

Both Briere and Van Riemsdyk are out with concussions.

Briere got his during Saturday's game against the Devils, and JVR supposedly got his in a game against the Senators on January 7.

Jagr is out with a reaggravated left groin.

Rinaldo's upper-body injury has been revealed to be a neck strain.

Van Riemsdyk, who is out indefinitely, has not returned to practice since the concussion diagnosis.

Briere, also out indefinitely, still traveled with the team to Florida, along with his father. This is due to the team's father/son trip.

After Tuesday's game, the Flyers will have four days off to get healthy, thanks to the All-Star game.
