The Flyers lost to the Detroit Red Wings 4-3 in a shootout last night. Wayne Simonds scored in the third period to tie up the game which led to overtime for the exhibition game in London, Ontario.In the shootout, Simmonds went in to take his shot when someone in the seats threw a banana at him.
Simmonds was still able to put the puck past Red Wing's goaltender Jordan Pearce though.
The next pre-season game for the Flyers is tonight in Detroit.
