Concussed Flyers miss practice

February 1, 2012

Danny Briere and James Van Riemsdyk both did not practice today, according to a report by CSNPhilly.com's Tim Panaccio.

Briere and Van Riemsdyk are out indefinitely with concussions, but seemed to be recovering since they were practicing for the past two days.

GM Paul Holmgren believes that both players hit a setback in their recovery. However, Panaccio writes that Briere wanted some extra rest to assist in his recovery.

Ben Holmstrom has been sent back to Adirondack, now that Zac Rinaldo is clear to play after being out with an upper-body injury.
