Some quick notes before the Flyers-Pens game

Sergei Bobrovsky will be getting the start in goal this afternoon.


Bobrovsky started in last Sunday's game against the Penguins which resulted in a 6-4 Flyers win.

CSNPhilly.com's Tim Panaccio tweeted that coach Peter Laviolette said that Ilya Bryzgaqlov is playoff ready, even thoug he will not be playing today.

In addition, Panaccio tweeted that Claude Giroux has a cold (originally reported to be an upper-body injury) and will not be playing today. Harry Zolnierczyck, who was recalled from the Phantoms recently, will be playing in place of Giroux.

Also, Flyers beat-writer for the South Jersey Courier- Post tweeted that the Penguins will be without forwards James Neal and Steve Sullivan.

No Neal or Sullivan for Penguins, but they've missed the past couple of games.

The Flyers face-off with the Penguins at 4:00 PM on the NBC Sports Network.
