Nodl out vs. Columbus

Forward Andreas Nodl has a lower-bdoy injury and will not play Saturday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets, according to CSNPhilly.com's Tim Panaccio.

Here is Panaccio's report:

"The Flyers injury list continues to grow instead of shrink.

Andreas Nodl (lower-body) joined the list at this morning's skate for the Flyers game tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

He now joins fellow forwards Matt Read (upper-body) and James van Riemsdyk (lower-body) as out of action for this game.

The Flyers recalled Eric Wellwood from the Phantoms on Friday. It was assumed his presence was cautionary in the event JVR didn't play. But perhaps it was actually in the event Nodl didn't play.

As is his policy, coach Pete Laviolette directed all injury comments to general manager Paul Holmgren."
