Pronger, Coburn, Jagr scratched

November 21, 2011

According to CSNPhilly.com's Tim Panaccio, defensemen Chris Pronger and Braydon Coburn have been scratched from the lineup, for Monday night's home game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Forward Jaromir Jagr will also not be playing in Monday night's game. He suffered a groin pull last week, in a win against the Phoenix Coyotes.

Jagr says that he feels better and that the pain is gone, but wants to be a bit cautios considering he is 39. This will be the second straight game he will miss.

Kevin Marshall and Marc-Andre Bourdon have been called up from the Phantoms to fill in for the two defenseman. Both will be making their NHL debut.

It is not yet clear why Pronger and Coburn have been scratched from Monday night's game.
